When you are raised all over the world, you learn a lot about how places and people work. Tracy Swanson has used every one of those experiences. She knows people all over Brunswick County, knows the main streets and the back roads, and knows how to quickly assess the needs of her buyers and sellers.
With her father in the United States Air Force, Tracy was raised in Guam and bases in the United States. That childhood fostered an innate desire for public service, taking Tracy to her first career as a United States Marine. She is a veteran of Desert Storm and special operations in Sarajevo, serving as well on the Joint Task Force involving Haitians and Cubans. Retiring as a Gunnery Sergeant, Tracy and her husband then lived in Spain and Germany, where she worked for the U.S. Army as a Security Officer.
Brunswick County was a natural draw for Tracy and her husband, Matt, who is Director of Public Works at Sunny Point.
With a continued commitment to helping and serving people, real estate was a natural draw for Tracy. She makes the buying and selling experience pleasant and fun, backed by a steel spine in negotiating the best deal for her clients.
Committed to people, service and family, Tracy has one other unshakeable love – her golden retriever named Otis. In fact, most who meet her, and haven’t yet met Otis, listen to the love in her voice and think he must be one of her children – until they meet him and fall for him too!
